The 20th Century Master

the works of the most important artists working in Deruta at the beginnings of the 20th century: Angelo Micheletti,  Alpinolo Magnini, Ubaldo Grazia, and David Zipirovic.
Thanks to these artists, the Deruta production, after a period of decline, regains a new popularity. There was a new interpretation of the great Renaissance tradition of majolica. This new interest for classical themes is documented by the reproduction of the 15th and 16th century motifs.
The collection displayed several works, such as display plates, whose paintings are clearly influenced by  Michelangelo, Perugino, Sigonorelli, Raffaello and other important  Italian Masters.
